This printer is a worthless piece of junk, and I will never buy another Kodak printer again! J. Hill  |  26 reviewers made a similar statement
It doen't print all the ink and the ink is almost gray.(The ink cartridges are brand new, checked them both and they are still full, color is set to black.) WiscoKid  |  16 reviewers made a similar statement
The only problem is that so far, every time I have used it, I have had to try several times to get it going, as I get a "wireless error" message. Katie Luther  |  17 reviewers made a similar statement

Amazon Vine™ Review(What's this?)

This is the second Kodak Printer that I have reviewed during the last two months. The first was the Kodak ESP Office 2170. I was very pleased with that printer and equally pleased with this one. In addition, I have an HP and Canon MP 640. Compared to the HP and Canon, the Kodak printers have the slight edge. For instance the Canon and HP use 5 ink cartridges and the Kodak printers use 2. I find myself always looking for a single cartridge of one of the colors and then having to order it. Particularly the Canon which for some reason requires two black cartridges - this is absurd. Both of my Kodak printers utilize the same ink cartridges and now I don't have to deal with multiple vendors for two printers. Also the paper loading on the Kodak printers is as easy as it gets. The Canon design is poor in this area.I haven't done any studies on the use of ink, but it seems to me that due to the dual cartridge methodology, the Kodak requires less ink worries as it requires less cartridges to purchase and keep in inventory. The installation of the Kodak C315 was a piece of cake - that is - as long as you read the directions (which I never initially do). So after getting ticked off because the Microsoft Windows 7 installer failed, I read the manual and found that you have to initiate the installation from the printer, not the PC. This is different than most printers I've used as you generally use the Microsoft "install printer" wizard. THIS WILL NOT WORK ON WINDOWS 7. So once you begin the installation at the printer, your printer will be installed and selected as the default printer.Installing the WIFI was also easy and immediately picked up by the printer. However, this is something that was a little different. The printer gives you the `%' of signal strength being picked up from the WIFI router. In my case, I moved the printer into another room so that it would be closer to the computer, but at least twenty feet from the WIFI router - this is also through two doorways and around the bend. So I was very pleased that the printing and scanning was so effective at only 60% of signal strength.I printed pictures and they are stunningly clear and focused. You can load individual 6x4 glossies or up to 20 at a time. The ink was dry as the picture was coming out of the printer.I then used the scanner. Again, you have to initiate from the printer, NOT the Windows 7 computer. But this does make sense in that you can stand anywhere in the house and scan your document at the printer. When you are finished, then you can go to the computer and the document is waiting for you in a pdf format and the pages combined into a single document. This is a really nice feature.Again, I feel that Kodak is making huge strides in the printer market and providing user friendly features that other printers are not.
