pros:-seems to be high quality construction. you can tell it's a machine that would last.-tech support is 24/7. they are friendly, patient, and knowledgeable.cons:-no owner's manual. have to download it online. spent some time trying to figure out how to set up the fax receive modes.-scanner didn't work. downloaded new drivers and spent a couple hours with tech support. still didn't work. i have windows vista on a 2 yr old computer.-wireless function didn't work. spent at least 4 hours with tech support. still didn't work. he said that my router is the problem and that i should call Cisco to reconfigure the settings. i have a LinkSys wireless G router. i thought that was pretty standard?-printer software buggy. was changing some settings with tech support when all of a sudden 2 menu items literally disappeared! had to do a factory reset on the printer to get the menu items back. crazy!i bought this printer because i was tired of paying for HP ink and buying a new HP printer every 2 years and dealing with their tech support (or lack thereof). i may have gotten the durability and cost efficiency i was looking for. but this printer has a long way to go in terms of user friendliness, compatibility, etc. needs a lot more beta testing. for me the machine was no more than a copier and a fax machine, since the scanner and wireless did not work.
